The information
One of the first project of the new narratives section at lainformacion.com was creating an explorer to visualize the distributiona and growth of the immigrat population in Spain: by provincies, countries of origin, percentages, density, total number...
The design
I created a database with the data from the National Statistics Institute and divided the graphics in three parts: by percentage of population province by province; by total number province by province and by country of origin. All of them could be watched as an evolution using the slider.
