It was the 25th anniversary of the first artificial heart, the Jarvik 7 (named after Robert Jarvik, the doctor who designed it). We had to explain how it worked and compare it with modern artificial hearst.
The main concept to explain was how the Jarvik 7 was. How it works it's clear when you see it, so the big effort was on creating the central 3d piece, with an explanatory cut and use it to explain in a very clear and simple way the parts and system used. I also used little details around it, introducing important data at the beginning of the reading.
